1. Focusing only on the product versus who the product is from. Not just topic but who you are learning from. Don’t want to learn basketball from Oprah vs. Lebron. Equally important: quality of product/service and who you are as a brand. Why they should get it from you? Your differentiation? Why trust and why buy from you? Communicate differentiation effectively and benefit customer.
  2. Don’t be cheap on finding FB experts. Pay someone what they are worth or do it yourself.
  3. Not tying ad data from various sources, don’t just use Facebook data. Use multiple data sources to track conversions. From Google Analytics, Hotjar Heatmaps, UTMs. Getting data from all sources to tell story.
  4. Bonus: Not divesifying FB ad objectives.
